Apple, Malus  spp.



Habitat: Hedgerows, farms, meadows and along roadsides. Often planted as an ornamental / fruit tree in the urban environment.

Characteristics: Mature apple trees are typically 20-30 feet tall; the trunk having a diameter of 6-18 inches. The leaves of all apple species are toothed and approximately 1-4" long.
